Lotion Bars

Materials

• Butter
• Wax
• Oils
• Glass jar or bowl
• Small pot

• Mold

Ingredients

Use 1 part each, by weight

• Wax: Natural Beeswax (white or yellow)
• Butter: Shea, Mango or Cocoa
• Oil: Coconut, Grapeseed or Olive
• Optional: 15-25 drops essential oil of your choice this amount will vary depending on how much you make

Instructions

1. Place butter, oil and wax in a glass jar or bowl.

2. Fill a heavy bottom pot with water. Place the glass bowl or jar in/on top of the pot a of water.

3. Heat gently, stirring regularly, until ingredients are melted.

4. Remove from the heat and add your essential oil

5. Pour into mold of your choice (silicone are the easiest for removal and clean up)

6. Allow to cool completely before removing from molds.

7. Place in a container of your choice until ready to use

8. Lotion bar will melt with your body heat
